Emma Palzere-Rae has been invited to perform at this 126 year old tradition at Emerson College, the Southwick Recital.

She’ll be presenting a comical short story by Harriet Beecher Stowe, The Canal Boat, first published in 1841.

Although Stowe was one of the first and a frequent contributors to The Atlantic Monthly, as a woman, she did not always feel welcome at the Atlantic's table.

If you are in or near Boston, join us! The event is free and open to the public.
