Find out what propelled Harriet Beecher Stowe, 19th century working mother, to pen Uncle Tom’s Cabin.  The audience is invited to interview Mrs. Stowe as she is constructing her new family home, Oakholm.  She has returned to Hartford an international celebrity searching for a simpler life.
